Kim Giffin co-founded Polymer Testing Instruments in 1996. She continues to oversee the day to day operations as our Administrative Manager , and always gives special emphasis to providing our Customers with the highest level of service and trust. It’s with Kim’s experience and strong knowledge base of operating an Accredited Laboratory, that we have been able to grow into many other areas. Kim was at the forefront of developing our vast parts department as well as New Test Equipment. Doug Giffin’s vision for Polymer Testing Instruments when he cofounded the Company in 1996, was to provide a high quality alternative for service and calibration of instruments in the Rubber, Energy and Plastics Industry. With his combined Military and Industrial experience since 1974, Doug’s role as our Technical Manager comes with an invaluable wealth of engineering expertise and skills. This accrued experience was refined from servicing a very diverse group of Coast to Coast Clients with a multitude of Testing Equipment. Consultation inquiries should be directed to Doug.
William A. Sluder “Andy” joined Polymer Testing Instruments in early 2009 as their Service Manager. The training that he received in Europe, coupled with a strong background in Project Management, has been instrumental in ensuring the highest level of calibration and service needs for our Customers. Under Andy’s supervision, his Technicians continuously strive to keep our client’s assets in compliance through accurate and timely calibration services.
With a combined background in Polymer Chemistry and Quality Assurance , Michael Mollica brings with him the fortitude that embraces the standards of our Metrologists at Polymer Testing Instruments. Michael’s disciplined approach to servicing our Customers for Accredited Calibrations is what makes him a qualified Technician for our Company.
